Float Therapy
The quieter you become,
the more you can hear.

What is Floating?
Float therapy, alson known as sensory deprivation therapy or Reduced Enviromental Stimulation Therapy (REST), is a unique experience in which you effortlessly float on the surface of warm water enriched with over 800 pounds of Epsom salt. The water is heated to skin temperature and is only about 10 inches deep, allowing your body to float comfortably while pressure is gently relieved from your joints and muscles.
Each private float suite is warm, quiet, and designed to minimize external distractions. As light, sound, and the sensation of gravity begin to fade, many people experience profound relaxation, mental clarity, and a deep sense of calm.
With fewer demands on the body and mind, your attention naturally shifts inward. Many guests describe the experience as deeply restorative, often leaving feeling refreshed, rebalanced, and more connected to themselves.ditative state.
Why Float?
Stillness creates the space to hear ourselves again.
Our lives are filled with noise, responsibilities, notifications, and constant stimulation. Floating offers something profoundly different—a chance to slow down, become weightless, and simply be.
As the body relaxes and external distractions begin to fade, many people discover a deep sense of calm, clarity, and presence. Some describe it as meditation. Others experience a state of flow. Many simply leave feeling lighter, quieter, and more connected to themselves.
At Mindful Waters, we believe floating isn't about escaping life. It's about creating the space to return to it with greater clarity, balance, and intention.

Your First Float
We've thoughtfully prepared everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing experience, including a private shower, fresh towels, earplugs, a comfortable neck support, and a cool washcloth in case Epsom salt gets in your eyes.
Your session begins with soft music and gentle lighting as you settle into the warm water. As the lights fade and the music disappears, your float truly begins.
For many people, this is the most unexpected part of the experience. If it feels different at first, that's completely normal. Give yourself a few minutes. As your body relaxes and your mind settles, what first feels unfamiliar often becomes the most restorative part of the experience.
There is nothing to accomplish. Nothing to fix. Simply breathe, let go, and allow yourself to settle into stillness, silence, and space.
At the end of your session, gentle music and light gradually return, bringing you back at an unhurried pace. After a refreshing shower, many guests leave feeling deeply rested, renewed, and ready to return to their day.
